Confirmed Speakers

Khalil Mallah is a PhD student in Laboratoire Protéomique, Réponse Inflammatoire et Spectrométrie de Masse (PRISM)INSERM U1192- Université Lille 1- Lille- France, directed by Prof. Michel Salzet. His current thesis is titled: “Temporally and Spatially resolved Microproteomics and Mass Spectrometry Imaging Analysis for Traumatic Brain Injury Biomarker Identification” under the supervision of Prof. Isabelle Fournier (PRISM- Université Lille 1) and the co-supervision of Prof. Kazem Zibara (Université Lebanese). He received his Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology in 2015 and Bachelor Degree in Biochemistry in 2013 from the Université Lebanese. Khalil’s current interest is in the neuro-characterization of the microenvironmental changes induced after injury to the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). For this, he has recently published on spinal cord injury: “RhoA inhibitor treatment at acute phase of spinal cord injury may induce neurite outgrowth” in Molecular and Cellular Proteomics Journal. For the identification of neuronal biomarkers, his current scientifc field interests are mass spectromety imaging (MALDI-TOF, MALDI-Orbitrap), microproteomics (LC-MS/MS, HPLC), and systems biology analysis (Inginuity Pathway Analysis, Elsevier’s Pathway Studio).
