Tamara Jakovljevic
Croatian Forest Research Institute

Tamara Jakovljević is Researcher in Division of Forest ecology and Head of Laboratory for Physical and chemical analyses of soil, plant, atmospheric deposition and air particles at Croatian Forest Research Institute. She received her diploma in Biochemical engineering in 2000 and her doctoral degree in Biotechnology in 2010 at Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology at University of Zagreb.

The focus of her doctor thesis was the assessment and monitoring of air pollution effects on forests in Croatia. Her scientific interests are: assessment and monitoring of air pollution effects on forests, environmental monitoring, environmental chemistry, biochemistry. She is responsible for data elaboration, quality assurance and control as well as for organizing and conducting European Soil Interlaboratory comparation within UN-ECE ICP Forests programme. Within this programme she is a national representative and expert in groups on soil, air quality, atmospheric deposition and QA/QC in laboratory. Currently, she is involved in several national and international projects and programs concerning environmental research as a researcher, team leader or principal investigator. She is also a president of Section for the environment in the Society of Croatian Laboratories-Crolab.
